Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. In his first television appearances Evans was a part of roles such as Opposite and sex during 2000. Following appearances in several teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans gained more attention for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). As a result of his Marvel work, he became one the most highly-paid actors on the planet.
