MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads into Latin pop. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. He released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album reached the top of the charts at number 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. The group released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album in the years following. He appeared later in 2021 in a duet with TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. While a youngster, he played the ukulele guitar and the piano. While his initial career goal was becoming a veterinarian for animals, his brother Julian encouraged him to start studying singing with an instructor in Cuban. This changed his entire life.
