Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born to a music-loving family. She spent the majority of her early years listening to classic music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic tunes, as well classic classical music. Ana is a lover of tangos and opera, along with all dramatic performances. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16 under the tutelage of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. Her early professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. After relocating in America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in the southern part of California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer of classical Latin American music at private performances. She has been involved with a number of local projects in both teaching as well as a performer due to her passion for music and arts. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in The Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her love and passion of the traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations in order to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
